The "MIONOYA" ensemble preserves and promotes traditional Japanese culture, presenting the art of geisha and the classical dance "nihon-buyo" in Japan and at cultural events around the world. In their performances, the members draw on both classical repertoire and contemporary interpretations of traditional dance, helping new audiences discover Japan's cultural heritage.
At HINODE JAPAN, the founder of the "MIONOYA" ensemble, Orii, together with geishas Chiaki and Minami, will showcase the elegance of stage dance, introduce traditional parlor games "o-zashiki asobi", share insights into their culture, and hold photo sessions with visitors. Geisha performances can be seen on all festival days from October 2 to 4.

Since its debut in 2018, sajou no hana has performed theme songs for numerous anime, including Mob Psycho 100, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi), and Ishura. Blending pop, rock, electronic music, and other genres, sajou no hana has developed a distinctive sound, with sana's expressive vocals becoming the hallmark of the group's music
Fran is a Japanese cosplayer and member of the World Cosplay Summit (WCS) Organizer Committee. She has been passionate about cosplay since 1995 and has created more than 300 handmade costumes, with a particular preference for complex, layered designs. Fran has performed cosplay shows since 2012 and represented Japan at the World Cosplay Summit in 2013. Since 2014, she has served as an official WCS organizer, and since 2023, she has been part of the Japanese organizing team and a judge for the WCS Japan finals. Her other interests include playing biwa, stage combat, and manga drawing.
Igarashi Yumiko was born in 1950 in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. She made her debut as a manga artist in 1968 while still in high school. Her most famous work, Candy Candy, received the 1st Kodansha Manga Award in the Shōjo category in 1977. Many of her works, including Georgie! and Muka Muka Paradise, were adapted into anime. Beyond shōjo manga, Igarashi has created manga adaptations of classic literature, including Anna Karenina, as well as original artworks. She has participated in exhibitions and manga festivals in Japan and abroad. In 2024, she received the “QUEEN OF SHOJO” award at MANGA Barcelona in Spain. She continues to create and will celebrate 60 years since her professional debut in 2028.

Manga artist
A Japanese manga artist known primarily for creating seinen manga aimed at a men readers, as well as cover illustrations for novels. The artist is particularly acclaimed for her ability to depict complex machinery, motorcycles, and cars. Tory Soushi’s work ranges from hard-edged stories such as COLTMARIA and TracerHead, which explore themes of gambling, motorcycles, and violence, to educational manga about traditional Japanese tea ceremony, Cha no Kaze, and chess, Stalemate/pat.
In recent years, Tory Soushi has focused on original works inspired by historical events and real-life stories. One such work is Vostok, a manga about the competition among cosmonauts to become the first human to travel into space, supervised by a Japanese astronaut Ryoko Kikuchi.
